The time it takes for your AirPods to charge from zero to full capacity depends on your Airpods model. It takes the first-generation AirPods 17 minutes to charge 100% in their Case. The second-generation AirPods take 20 minutes. AirPods Pro and the third-generation AirPods will need up to 1 hour to charge fully.  

Drained AirPods in Drained Case 

To charge your AirPods when the Case is drained, you will have to plug the Case with the AirPods inside. This differs from charging in the Case. A full charge will take 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 1 hour for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation AirPods, respectively. 

Fast-Charging AirPods 

For a quick boost, AirPods Pro and 3rd generation AirPods will need just about 5 minutes of charge time inside the Case for 1 hour of talk time. 1st and 2nd-generation AirPods will require about 15 minutes for 2 hours of talk time.
