They also offer customer support as well, which isn’t something that you’ll find with just anyone. However, we’re not too sure about the quality of it.
When it comes to their targeted technology, they use things like location and hashtags to make their searches much more relevant.

If you’re looking at Social Buddy for your TikTok growth, then you can’t expect organic, genuine growth that comprises people who will love what they see on your profile.
They don’t want to make sure that all of the followers and likes you get through them are real, which means that you won’t be able to sustain your account over a long time.
They claim on their website that they can help their followers grow their TikTok accounts by as many as 500 new followers every week. They also employ the following/unfollowing method, which is old and outdated.
Lastly, they don’t make sure that they don’t associate themselves with bots or fake accounts. We don’t like that they can guarantee the exact number of followers you’ll get every week – this implies fake engagement.

Their Instagram growth service is pretty similar to their TikTok growth service. They claim to want to make sure that they’re attracting not only the right people for your niche, but people who are real, don’t run fake accounts, and that is guaranteed for the most part to stick around for a long time.
We don’t think that they can do this, sadly. They say that with their Instagram growth service, you can also expect to see as many as 500 new followers a week, but of course, results can vary from person to person.
Again, you can’t trust a company like this that can promise an exact number of followers, just like we talked about above.

For their TikTok growth service, you can expect to pay $99 a month, which is definitely way more than you want to be paying. There are plenty of companies out there that can offer similar services for a lot less.
For their Instagram service, it’s slightly cheaper, coming in at just $79 a month. With both, you get all of their features, including account manager support, and specific targeting to suit your niche.
While you can cancel whenever you like, we don’t think that their services are strong enough to sign up for in the first place.

The only reason why they would steal an account is if they offered their clients fake profiles, which we think that they do.

As long as Social Buddy is sticking to Instagram and TikTok’s terms and conditions, a company like this can’t get you suspended or banned for using them. However, because we don’t think that they are complying with the T’s and C’s, we think that there is a very likely chance of you getting banned if you use them.

They just randomly interact with bot and fake accounts, that are going to follow you – but aren’t going to improve your engagement rate in any way.
You might be fooled at the beginning because things might look legit for a little while, but soon you’ll realise what their real intentions are.

Social Buddy claims to be a growth service for Instagram that can allegedly help you with your target audience.
There is nowhere on their website where they say this, but they claim that their strategy is to implement automatic activity for your page, so that you can reach your growth goals.
They say that to do this, they follow and unfollow other people for you, so that you don’t have to do the dirty work.
According to reviews out there, Social Buddy’s automation stopped working a while ago – in 2019, to be exact – and the reason for this is because they violated Instagram’s policies.
This means that their bot isn’t going to bring you the right followers, because if it did, you wouldn’t get in trouble with Instagram for using it.
If you have ever had your account suspended or banned, you will know first-hand what it’s like to have to get back up on the horse, and it’s not pretty. Nobody wants to go through this. Social Buddy doesn’t seem to be able to get their clients the results that they need.
How do Use Social Buddy
If you want to use Social Buddy, you will need to pick a pricing plan that suits you the best, and then go to the section that says ‘get real followers’.
Once you’ve done this, they are going to ask you to share some basic information. This is going to include your email address, Instagram username, and your name.
Next, they are going to ask you to get specific with your goals, including what your target audience looks like and what your hashtags are, and then from here they can allegedly grow your profile. They don’t though.
Is Social Buddy Safe?
We don’t think that Social Buddy is safe – but they are safe in the way that they aren’t going to steal your information.
They have an HTTPS secured website, which does mean that your personal information is going to be encrypted and they won’t be able to sell it onto a third party. However, considering how they fail in almost every other aspect, this is hardly comforting.
They are going to get you banned or blocked on Instagram, which is going to go against everything you’re going for, and hoping to achieve.
They also won’t issue a refund when the bot that they use doesn’t work. You are going to be trying to get in touch with them for a long time, and you won’t end up having any luck.
Is Social Buddy Legit? Is It a Scam?
So, there’s not a lot pointing to Social Buddy being legit at this point. We think that the entire thing is shady, and we also think that they make it really difficult for you to contact them.
They only have an email address for you to use, and you know that you’re not going to hear back from them should you choose to at least try. According to reviews out there, like on their Trustpilot, you’re not going to get any assistance from them.
The other thing that is concerning is that they seem to still charge their clients for work they aren’t doing for them, and it might get to a point where you will have to call your bank to get their payments cancelled.
Considering they are lacking so much in the customer support department, they can hardly be considered legit.
Final Review Verdict
As you can see, there’s not a lot to love about Social Buddy.
It’s clear that they don’t really care about their customers, because they haven’t put 100% into everything they do – from their average customer support system, to their ineffective features that don’t target the right people for you.
At the end of the day, we think that Social Buddy isn’t a great option if you’re trying to make a real difference to your TikTok or Instagram following.
