Promoting real and organic Instagram growth, SocialMeep says that you can grow your real follower count if you use their service. That’s pretty normal, so far so good. That’s pretty much where it ends though, because all other signs point to SocialMeep being just another run-of-the-mill low result growth service.

Is SocialMeep the New SocialCaptain?
SocialCaptain was one of the most hated Instagram growth services in the past, and people really didn’t like them. They had terrible reviews on a variety of websites and eventually they shut down. They’re completely out of business according to that website.

Breaking Down SocialMeep’s Service
While we tried to like SocialMeep, it ended up falling flat for a variety of reasons. It doesn’t make sense that they claim to be automated but then offer people no bots and no fake accounts. Strike one.
What’s more, they offer auto-targeting features, which they claim to have developed to really high levels so that you can reach the best people in your target audience. They say that they analyze millions of users which helps to engage with only connected accounts.
The problem with this, though, is that bots can’t differentiate between good accounts and bad accounts. Good accounts would be the ones connected to your niche, and bad ones would be fake ones, bots, and things not connected to your niche.
While you do provide targeting instructions to SocialMeep, because it’s a bot service, it won’t be able to ensure that you do get the right engagements. It’s not as accurate as they’d claim.
It also can’t detect whether or not an account is actually real, so they can’t guarantee what they are promising.
You can’t have bots and all real results. Doesn’t work that way.
Fake Reviews
Another big problem on SocialMeep’s website is the reviews. It offers a variety of different “client reviews” that give information they’d hope is influential and impressive enough in getting you to sign up for the service.
Unfortunately, these accounts are totally fake. They are showing huge numbers of growth, which is just outrageous. There’s no way an automated service like SocialMeep can provide 2000+ followers a month. It’s not feasible.
Also, when you click on the review to see more about it or the user, it just directs you back to the SocialMeep main page. Totally fake.
